STRC Forum November 19

The Victorian Electricity Supply Industry (VESI) Skills and Training Reference Committee (STRC) would like to invite all VESI contractors and training providers to the VESI STRC forum.

The purpose of this forum is to communicate changes made by the STRC in 2012, planned projects for 2013 and the chance for you to provide feedback.

Forum Agenda:

Introduction 

  • Skilled Migration presentation – State Government Department of Business Innovation
  • Skills and Training Guideline and Matrix updates
  • Apprentice Supervision Guidelines - update
  • Industry updates (Blue and Green Book, Fieldworkers Handbook, new committees, National licensing)

Date:               Monday 19th November 2012

Time:              9.30 am arrival – tea, coffee for a 10 am start and we aim to finish between 12 – 12.30 pm

Who:               Contractors and Training Providers  

Venue:            GippsTafe - Rae Street (cnr Drummond), Chadstone (See map (A) below)

Room:             Theatrette

Note: This forum is a change in format from previous years. This year we will have all contractors, training providers and Network Operators at one combined session.
