As advised in earlier updates, the Green Book has been updated and published as the Electrical Safety Rules for the Victorian Distribution Networks (2013). The Green Book compliance date that has been set by the VESI network operators is January 31, 2014. By this it is expected that all VESI employees will have undertaken a session that will familiarise them with the changes that have occurred in the latest Green Book update.
This familiarisation session can be completed using the information that has been published via a previous VESI Announcement (sent on August 22, 2013 and available at the Announcements page of www.vesi.com.au).
NOTE; if relevant refresher training has been programmed before January 31 2014, it may be addressed as part of that training rather than at a familiarisation session.
